We actually arrived late in the day on Saturday. I discovered that
Towing your pride and joy for 14 and a half hours is rather stressful.
Towards the end the tongue loosened up on the trailer side. It’s really
fine but to watch the bike moving more than it was in the rearview
mirror was a little disconcerting. I’ll have it fixed before we go home. (more…)

So this past weekend with the rain coming in heavily on Saturday it put a real damper on me doing any work on the trailer. With my daughter’s birthday party on Sunday afternoon I was concerned about time but with a bunch of help on Saturday my wife was nice enough to assure me all I should need to do on Sunday was help carry in groceries and hang the piñata. So order of the day was to set up the bounce house which had my son in his clothes for the first time ever on a weekend before 8 O’clock AM and then get to Lowes, then come back in build the trailer. So a few weeks ago the wheels were put in motion of whether or not we were going to load up the family and head down to NC for Thanksgiving to visit my In-Laws. To be honest at first I was not really looking forward to driving for 17 hours and getting there and realizing that every dam road I’m on down there is begging for my motorcycle to be ridden on them. At time you’re driving along and suddenly I can picture my below me wrestling this curve to submission… But then Dawn gave me a budget… (more…)

The motorcycle had not been started in a long time. I went out to start it and of course as all VFR’s do when they sit for too long. The battery was dead.. F%$#! So I hooked up the battery charger and proceeded to ride my other trusty stead. A 2006 Husqvarna 1832 Riding Lawn Mower.. Yeah.. That baby corners like an elephant on roller-skates. After using the Lawnmower as the lazy way to blow the leaves that I had picked up last week back to the side I walked up to the bike and she started right up ready to go.. (more…)

So. Sometime in September I was on my way in to work and got cut of by some bimbo in a big SUV as she was pulling into Wal-Mart. I started thinking about all the times I had been cut-off and since I had just finished reading a round of “Best of Craigslist” I thought I should write a Craigslist rant.

I had started this rant totally embelishing the crap out of it to try and make it a “Best of Craiglist” worthy peice of matarial. The cars and them cutting me off is absolutly true… Anything else is probably not. I was going for a funny vent:
